MOSAIC OF THE TOUR

A 3-day holiday focusing on the birdlife of Burbayar Nature Reserve, LLano-Cartí Road and Bayano Region. Including mammals and frogs

We begin our tour at the Burbayar Nature Reserve located in eastern Panama, which are famous for their range-restricted populations, and interesting birds including Sapayoa, Yellow-eared Toucanet, Sulphur-rumped and Rufous-winged Tanagers, and more.

The next day we explore Llano-Cartí Road searching for Black-crowned Antpitta, Green Manakin, White-fronted Nunbird and other specialities. We end our tour on the Eastern Pacific lowland of the Panama Province, Bayano Region. Where patches of forest and the Bayano Lake are among Eastern Panama’s great birding area and we can expect to encounter some Darién specialties such as Black Antshrike, Orange-crowned Oriole, and White-eared Conebill.

EASTERN PANAMA BIRDING TRIP

Group size:

Maximum of 3-4 participans.

Meal:

All meal is included in the price. All meals will be prepared by the Burbayar Lodge. Breakfasts, lunch dinners will be taken at our lodge. The food is excellent with a varied menu featuring local cuisine and seasonings.

Accommodation:
All accommodation is provided at Burbayar lodge. Lodge accommodations are rustic, but comfortable. No hot water available. We have six double cabins and one triple, with individual bathrooms and water. We have power from a small generator (run from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm).
Walking:

The walking effort is mostly moderate-difficult. Most walks are long.
Travel:

Ground Transport with air-conditioned.

Aditional price for single occupancy: US$160.00 + 7% tax.
