Green Honeycreeper (Chlorophanes spiza)

Green Honeycreepers (Chlorophanes spiza) are brightly colored tanagers found from southern Mexico to Brazil. It is the only member of the genus Chlorophanes.  This species occurs in the canopy of humid lowland. 

 

The male is mainly blue-tinged green with a black head and a mostly bright yellow bill.
